Digimon World is a series of RPGs within the Digimon franchise. It is also known as Digimon Story in Japan. Of the Digimon RPGs this series is more commonly translated. Though they share a series and some game mechanics like item names most of the Digimon World games are different takes on the digital world and work differently.
