Games

The first two titles were released in English, even if they were released in Japan only. Hence, the English icon Flag of the United Kingdom.svg in the table below. Although they are officially labeled as "role-playing games", Dragon Slayer 1 and 2 hardly fit in the category. They both lack any dialogue with non-playable characters; DS1 also lacks permanent upgrades (some enemies can lower character attributes).

The following table lists original games only (remakes are included on same row); expansion packs will be described within the specific game guide. The Legend of Heroes originated its own spin-off series of the same name, that lists 14 games. Two online games were released in Japan, but are now defunct: Sorcerian Online (2006-2012) and Dragon Slayer: Warriors of the Crown (2012-2014).
