Success Corporation is a Japanese game developer originally founded as "Success Achievement Tokyo, Ltd." in 1978. Three years later it was renamed "Success, Ltd." As the company has grown, two additional complimentary divisions have formed for online and mobile games.

Success is best known for developing the long-running shooter series, Cotton, sometimes known as a cute 'em up game, and helped establish the sub-genre.

In the US, most of their recent titles to reach the country have been published by Atlus USA, including Rondo of Swords, Operation Darkness, Touch Detective, Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja, and Metal Saga. Their titles run a wide range of both appeal and quality, with some titles known as being extraordinarily hard or for niche audiences, while others are purposefully developed for a wide audience, or as budget titles.
