Willow is a May 1988 movie by George Lucas, upon which three video games are based.
The American game is essentially promotional merchandise, and it received negative reviews.
The first Japanese game is a faithful transposition of the movie. The second Japanese game adds content to the plot and new characters to create a coherent fantasy world.
