Allies, Mission 09a (upper route)
"Evacuate Kosygin"
Briefing: "One of Stalin's top atomic strategists, Vladimir Kosygin, wishes to defect. His knowledge of Stalin's atomic strategies is invaluable to us. We will extract him from the Riga compound where he is stationed.
Use a spy to infiltrate the Soviet command center and contact Kosygin. Once he is out of the building, guide him back to your base any way you can."
For Mission 9, in which you need to evacuate Major Vladimir Kosygin from Riga compound (Latvia) you have two different choices which route you can take. They have same objective but the map layout is different. You'll get this map from choosing the upper arrow. If you don't want to do full frontal attack on Soviet base (which is not needed, you just need to get Kosygin to safety) you have basically two options: "proper way" and "quick way". The "quick" approach is presented in this variant of Mission 9 and "proper" one in the next one.
Walkthrough: The main goal is to get your Spy to the Soviet Command Center. There are two Dogs patrolling near the landing area, so beware. The funny thing is, that the two Dogs before the main entrance are somewhat sedated or something, cause their line of sight is messed up. You can walk past them to the base and quickly enter the Command Center. Afterwards you get reinforcements in the form of two Cruisers from the south. You can use them to kill the Attack Dogs which are hindering in Kosygin escape. Kosygin acts like normal Spy unit, so he is not attackable by any Soviet unit or structure except Attack Dogs.

Walkthrough: The main goal is to get your Spy to the Soviet Command Center. So you don't need to destroy whole Soviet base. You can use Navy to clear out the landing spot for your Spy without necessity to use Transporters full of Medium Tanks.
