The various maps of counterstrike are based on the victory conditions of the game, however map makers sometimes go beyond the norm to create new types of gameplay.
Maps like the AIM series, Deagle, AWP and Scout maps are all preferred levels for enhancing skills with those weapons.
Since new maps get created all the time, there are several hundred.
