Follow these steps to install a mod.

Single Player Maps

  1. Locate and open your Crysis Levels game folder in, \Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Levels
  2. Backup any existing levels that might have the same name (rename the current map folder, e.g. \Levels\Assault to \Levels\Old.Assault).
  3. Move the newly downloaded map folder from the download file into the current Levels folder.
  4. Load Crysis main menu.
  5. Use the ` to show console.
  6. Enter con_restricted 0
  7. Enter map mapname, (where mapname is the name of the custom map, e.g. map assault).

Multiplayer Maps

Instant Action Custom Maps

  1. Locate and open your Crysis IA game folder in, \Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Levels\Multiplayer\IA
  2. Backup any existing levels that might have the same name (rename the current map folder, e.g. \IA\Assault to \Levels\Old.Assault).
  3. Move the newly downloaded map folder from the download file into the current IA folder.
  4. Load Crysis main menu.
  5. Use the ` to show console.
  6. Enter con_restricted 0
  7. Enter sv_gamerules InstantAction
  8. Enter map mapname, (where mapname is the name of the custom map, e.g. map assault).

Power Struggle Maps

  1. Locate and open your Crysis PS game folder in, \Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Levels\Multiplayer\PS
  2. Backup any existing levels that might have the same name (rename the current map folder, e.g. \PS\Assault to \Levels\Old.Assault).
  3. Move the newly downloaded map folder from the download file into the current IA folder.
  4. Load Crysis main menu.
  5. Use the ` to show console.
  6. Enter con_restricted 0
  7. Enter sv_gamerules PowerStruggle
  8. Enter map mapname, (where mapname is the name of the custom map, e.g. map assault).
