Curse of the Azure Bonds is a role-playing game developed by Strategic Simulations, based on the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons adventure module of the same name. It is based on the Gold Box game engine, and takes place within the Forgotten Realms campaign setting.
In this adventure, the main characters were attacked while traveling to Tilverton. They wake up in the inn with mysterious blue tattoos on the arm. These five symbols force the characters to take actions against their will, and need to be removed by destroying the New Alliance.
