Legend[edit]

  • Lv: the first number is the spell level, the second number (in brackets) is the minimum experience level of the character.
  • Type:
    • Heal: spells that cure health points or status ailments. Heal (camp): healing spells that can only be used after battle.
    • Field: spells that can be cast out of battle.
    • Support: battle spells that target the party members. Support/field: support spells that can be cast before combat.
    • Disable: battle spells that target the enemies, without dealing damage.
    • Attack: battle spells that damage the enemies.
  • Rng: range (in tiles, or meters).
  • Dur: duration; r=rounds; t=turns.

US-only units were converted into international units.

Status ailments[edit]

  • Poisoned: similar to dead, but can be temporarily revived by the "Slow poison" spell.
  • Diseased: Strength is lowered.
  • Blind:
  • Cursed: THAC0 and saving throws are lowered.
  • Held: paralyzed.
  • Slowed:
  • Nauseous:

2 (03) Snake charm Disable Paralyzes as many snakes as the caster's HP. 3 All 5-8 r.
2 (03) Hold person Disable Paralyzes up to 3 character-type enemies (humans, elves, etc.). 6 1-3 4 r. +1 r/lv
2 (03) Spiritual hammer Attack Inflicts damage to an enemy immune to normal weapons. 3 1 1 r/lv
3 (05) Cure disease Heal (camp) Cures the "diseased" status. 1 1 -
