Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix is a marriage between the Mario universe and the Dance Dance Revolution series of games. Konami has remixed a bunch of different familiar Mario tunes so that you can test your skill on the dance mat.

Dance Dance Revolution is a game where you 'dance' according to cues that appear on your television screen. There are only 4 different cues to follow (Up, Down, Left, Right), and you need to step in time with the music to complete the song and achieve a high score.

Controls

Mario Mix comes bundled with a dance pad specifically created for use with the Nintendo GameCube. You can use the provided game pad, or play with the GameCube controller.

  • Directional buttons - Navigate menus/perform dance steps.
  • A - Confirm selection
  • B - Cancel selection
  • Start - Start a game/pause a game. Hold down to exit a song during play.
  • Z - Cycle through different mode options (such as Mush Mode).
