Staves are two-handed staff weapons, and occupy 1x3, 1x4 or 2x4 inventory or stash spaces when not equipped:

Staves have 100 Strength bonus when calculating attack damage, so % Damage = Strength. As blunt weapons, they also have +50% Damage to Undead.

Normal, superior, magic and rare staves can spawn with up to three +(1-3) bonuses to individual Sorceress skills.

When staves are equipped by a Barbarian, Mace Mastery applies.

Affixes[edit]

All staves have magic level 1, so Affix Level (ALvl) = Item Level (ILvl) + 1. Maximum Required Level (RLvl) for any magic or rare staff is 52 (maximum Affix Level (ALvL) 70).
