Charms are items that supply bonuses simply by placing them in your inventory: they won't do so if placed in your stash or Horadric Cube.

Charms are a great way to build up magic find or resistances, bonuses on which most players must compromise when equipping items for more damage.

Small Charms[edit]

Small Charms each take 1 inventory space, so a maximum of 40 can be placed in inventory.
