Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days/New humans

Aside from the human characters that are available in Cursed Memories, two new human characters have been added, which is the Celestial Host, and the Lady Samurai. Assembly bills are no longer needed to unlock these classes.

Celestial Host

The Celestial Host is radically different from her Disgaea: Hour of Darkness incarnation. The Celestial Host seems like a mediocre class at first; as it only learns the first tier of all spell types (Sans Star Magic) and gains no skills upon grinding. However, the Celestial Host is tailor-made with Magic in mind. Aptitudes in INT, RES, HIT, and SP are extremely high at the tiers progress. After some work with Pupils and Reincarnation; the Host can rival and Skull or Mage.

Her innate ability reduces elemental damage adjacent allies take by 20%. This ability is best used in tandem with the Magic Knight's ability to increase elemental resistances. If used well enough, this combination prevents (most) enemy spells from even scratching you.

The Host is also proficient in various other weapons as you progress through the tiers; (Bows in particular)being able to use anything but Fists or Swords effectively. Of course, a lackluster ATK Aptitude reduces her attacking strength to that of a Healer or Thief.

The Host is a diamond in the rough; having potential in a number of areas, but requires work before she can truly shine.

The Lady Samurai is a class centered around damage output; particularly against a single target. Like her male counterpart, she is designed with high ATK and SPD, while having moderate HP.

Her native ability increases her attacking power by 20% when she is attacking a single target. This makes her the best Axe-user in the game after a souped-up Majin, despite having weak Mastery with the weapon; as Axes are confined to one target when attacking.

Of course, her mediocre DEF makes her somewhat vulnerable to high-powered attacks; making Shoes a better defensive alternative for her than Armor. (Due to her powerful SPD growth!)

Aside from this ability difference, she should be treated like her male counterpart.
