Vengeful Spirit is a ranged agility hero that is usually played as a support. Her Magic Missile is a useful stun and she can use her Wave of Terror to scout and weaken foes. Her mere presence will increase her ally's damage with her Vengeance Aura. If the situation calls for it, she can even sacrifice her life with Nether Swap to take an enemy down or to save an ally's life with Nether Swap.

Ability[edit]

Magic Missile[edit]

Dota 2 vs magic missile.png
  • Ability: Target Unit
  • Affects: Enemy Heroes
  • Damage Type: Magical
  • Damage: 100 / 175 / 250 / 325
  • Duration: 1.45 / 1.55 / 1.65 / 1.75
  • Mana Cost: 110 / 120 / 130 / 140
  • Cooldown: 10

Magic Missile fires a blast of magic at the target, dealing damage and stunning. A very basic and very reliable stun as well as a good damage nuke. Its uses are the same as every other stun, temporarily eliminating important threats, slow down an escape or to stop a chase. It is also a very damaging nuke for a support, so use it just to do damage if you need to.

Wave of Terror[edit]

Dota 2 vs wave of terror.png
  • Ability: Target Point
  • Damage Type: HP Removal
  • Damage: 30 / 50 / 70 / 90
  • Armor Reduction: 2 / 3 / 4 / 5
  • Vision Duration: 3
  • Debuff Duration: 20
  • Mana Cost: 40
  • Cooldown: 15

Wave of Terror sends a wide projectile in the direction of the targeted area, doing slight damage, reducing enemy armor and giving your team vision of what's ahead. The damage dealt is hp removal, meaning that it will not stop certain effects like Clarities and Healing Salves that halt when taking damage. It will be mainly used as a scouting tool, since the damage is insignificant and you might just hit a few enemy heroes with the wave.

Vengeance Aura[edit]

Dota 2 vs vengeance aura.png
  • Ability: Passive, Aura
  • Affects: Allied Heroes
  • Radius: 900
  • Damage Bonus: 12% / 20% / 28% / 36%

Vengeance Aura increases the physical damage dealt by allied heroes nearby. It doesn't require much explanation. As long as you're near teammates, you will always increase their damage output.

Nether Swap[edit]

Dota 2 vs nether swap.png
  • Ability: Target Unit
  • Range: 650 / 925 / 1200
  • Mana Cost: 100 / 150 / 200
  • Cooldown: 45
  • Scepter Cooldown: 10

Nether Swap exchanges your location with the target's, whether they're an enemy or an ally. It can be a very powerful asset. You can swap locations with a fleeing enemy to bring them closer to your allies. You can also swap locations with a severely wounded ally who is being chased by enemies to help them escape. You can even swap places with a deadly teamfight hero just before a teamfight starts so that your team can kill off said hero. Be careful with it, since in some situations swapping can put you in a very bad situation. If swapping will give your team a great advantage, you should go for it even if it's suicidal.
