Bloodseeker is a melee agility hero who is usually pplayed as a carry. Bloodseeker enjoys drawing blood, as his Blood Bath will heal him up every time he kills an enemy. He can imbue a hero with Bloodrage, making them stronger but unable to cast spells while their health drains away. His Thirst for blood lets him seek out wounded heroes. Enemies affected with his Rupture will have to face a difficult decision, run and have their health drained away or stand their ground and get shredded by Bloodseeker.

Abilities[edit]

Bloodrage[edit]

Dota 2 bloodseeker bloodrage.png
  • Ability: Target Unit
  • Affects: Heroes
  • Damage Type: Magical
  • Damage: 20
  • Duration: 6 / 7 / 8 / 9
  • Damage Increase: 30% / 60% / 90% / 120%
  • Mana Cost: 80
  • Cooldown: 12 / 10 / 8 / 6

Bloodrage imbues a unit ally or enemy with rage, increasing the power of their physical attacks but silencing them as well as making them take damage over time. It also purges buffs from enemies and debuffs from allies. You can either use it on weak spellcasters whose damage isn't high enough to be a concern but is feared for their spells, or use it on an ally to increase their attack power, including yourself. The damage over time can kill your own ally, so you can cast it on a dying teammate or yourself to deny yourselves.

Blood Bath[edit]

  • Ability: Passive
  • Hero Kill: 10% / 20% / 30% / 40%
  • Unit Kill: 10% / 15% / 20% / 25%

Blood Bath will heal you a portion of an enemy's health every time you kill an enemy. If an enemy hero dies within a radius of 325 units from you, you also gain the health you would have gotten if you killed that enemy yourself. It helps you survive as you kill off each enemy hero, since your health will just keep going back up. The more tanky a hero is, the more health you can get from killing him/her.

Thirst[edit]

Dota 2 bloodseeker thrist.png
  • Ability: Passive
  • Radius: Global
  • Damage: 5 / 15 / 25 / 35
  • Movement Speed: 5% / 15% / 25% / 35%
  • Health Percentage Detection: 50%

Thirst will give you vision of any enemy hero that has less than a certain amount of their health as well as giving you increased movement speed and armor. You will gain true sight of invisible heroes whose health drops below half the usual detection amount. The increased movement speed and damage stacks with each low-health enemy, and the universal movement speed cap is removed when Thirst is active. It helps you and your team to locate an enemy who just ran out of sight, and the ability to reveal invisible units is also helpful for killing off pesky Rikis and Weavers. You can team up with an Invoker or Clockwerk and help them land their global nukes on dying enemies with Thirst. The removed movement speed cap means that Bloodseeker can potentially reach ridiculous speeds if there are enough heroes low on health.

Rupture[edit]

Dota 2 bloodseeker rupture.png
  • Ability: Target Unit
  • Affects: Enemy Heroes
  • Damage Type: HP Removal
  • Damage: 150 / 250 / 350
  • Duration: 7 / 8 / 9
  • Move Damage: 20% / 40% / 60%
  • Mana Cost: 150 / 200 / 250
  • Cooldown: 70 / 60 / 50

Rupture will tear apart the target enemy's skin, causing them to take a lot of damage as well as spill blood when they move, draining away a portion of their health based on how many units they moved. The damage dealt is pure damage, which will ignore armor and magic resistance. It can either force enemies to stand where they are and try to fight you or make them run until their health runs out. You can actually force an enemy to take damage from Rupture by using a Force Staff on them.
