A Neo Geo Pocket Color port of Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers, Fatal Fury: First Contact removes plane switching but plays faithfully to its predecessor otherwise. Twelve characters return with the addition of Lao, the fighter being defeated by Xiangfei and Rick in the animated intro in RBFF2.
This is the final game in the Real Bout series.
