Find and speak to Nhadala. She is worried about some weird events and some strange people spotted in the Oasis. She asks the Gullwings to check it out. Speak to the pilot twice and ask him to take you to the Oasis to look. Once you have arrived, approach the water's edge. Yuna spots a sphere. Pick it up. It is Rikku's special dressphere, Machina Maw. After discovering the sphere, Logos and some Fem-Goons ambush the girls forcing them into battle.

A smart first move would be to take out the Fem-Goons. Once they are dispatched, the amount of attacks on the girls is obviously lessened. Logos' attacks similar to previous battles except he has acquired a new move Hail of Bullets. This attack damages the entire party with a volley of shots. He also may throw bombs, attempting to inflict Darkness or Silence. If he becomes to pesky, keep in mind that you can always use a Songstress to cast Sleepy Shuffle. After you defeat the trio, you will be awarded with the Hour of Need Garment Grid.
If you turned O'aka over to the Al Bhed[edit]
If you turned O'aka over to the Al Bhed after chasing him down in the Macalania Woods during Chapter 1, you can find him here at Bikanel Desert. He is in the Southern Expanse digging away. If you have changed your mind and want to help O'aka out, talk to the pilot to head over to that area. Speak with O'aka and allow him to come aboard the Airship Celsius.
