It is an enhanced remake of Fire Emblem: Monshou no Nazo, developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. It is the twelfth entry to the Fire Emblem series and the second Fire Emblem remake for the Nintendo DS. The game also contains a version of BS Fire Emblem: Akaneia Senki in its Extra Mode.
