On the Boat
Kill the general attacking you, but be careful not to blow up any of the red barrels. At the other end of the boat grab the anti-death out of the left barrel and turn it on to steal health from death.
Arriving on land
Kill the ankle-biters, then kill the grunts and destroy the generator at the far end. Note they have gas masks so the poison barrels don't affect them.
