Geimos was a forward scrolling shooter (in the vein of Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom and Exerion) where you advance along the surface of a planet with a selection of different space backdrops in the background. You can raise and lower your ship's position off of the ground. There are two modes of play, one where the camera is fixed and the ship moves up and down, and another where the camera is locked to the ship, and the world moves closer or farther away.
