Goalie Ghost is a soccer arcade game that was released by Bally and Sente in 1984; another of the initial batch of eight games to run upon their SAC-I hardware, the players must use trackballs to take control of two goalkeepers, with a single button to make them jump (the game employs a two-person view, for 1P gets the top of the screen, and 2P gets the bottom). Both halves of the screen view their respective player from behind; one to three balls shall materialize in the centre of the screen, and as one hovers towards your goalkeeper, he shall have to get in front of it, then kick it towards that other goalkeeper (who shall then have to save it if he can). The amount of goals both players have scored will be displayed above both goals - and if only one player is present, that second goalkeeper will be controlled by the CPU on one of three (player-selected) difficulty levels (Novice, Skilled and Expert).
