Anguirus

Anguirus teams up with Godzilla to help save the earth. Anguirus is a starter character.

Anguirus has the strongest defense but weak long range attacks. Anyone who hits Anguirus' shell will be stunned and receive small damage since it is covered with spikes. Anguirus' beam attack can't beam fight with other beams. Anguirus can curl up into a ball and roll across the stage.

Moves

Baragon

  • Cost: 15,000

Being an earth guardian, Baragon obviously will help defend the earth with the aid of the earth defenders.

Baragon is a fast and strong kaiju, but his long range attacks are weak. His energy recharges automatically, but at a slow rate. Baragon can dig underground.

Using the Alien faction, play "Friend in Need" at Monster Island. On the isle, simply free Baragon from the influence of the crystals and complete the stage. Afterwards, play the "Baragon" stage at Monster Island and defeat the creature to add him to the shop.

Moves

Fire Rodan

  • Cost: Fire Rodan is a starter character

Fire Rodan protects the sky from anything that could harm the planet.

Rodan is very fast and can fly faster than any other kaiju. However, his other stats are weak.

Moves

Godzilla 1954

  • Cost: 100,000

Godzilla 1954 can't be used in story mode.

Godzilla 1954 is similar to Godzilla 2000, but is slower.

Unlock Megaguirus, Obsidius, Titanosaurus, and Varan to add him to the shop.

Moves

Godzilla 1990s

  • Cost: 20,000

Godzilla 1990s can't be used in story mode.

Godzilla 1990s has stronger long range attacks and defense than Godzilla 2000's, but is slower and has weaker close combat skills.

Unlock Mecha-King Ghidorah, Biollante, Baragon, and Krystalak to add him to the shop.

Moves

Godzilla 2000

  • Cost: Godzilla 2000 is a starter character

Godzilla once again defends the earth with the aid of the Earth Defenders.

Godzilla 2000 is an even balanced character.

Moves

King Caesar

  • Cost: 10,000

King Caesar is reawakened to help save the earth. Unlike the other Earth Defenders, King Caesar cares about humans.

King Caesar is an even balanced character. When the match starts, King Caesar starts with one energy cell.

Moves

Mothra

  • Cost: 10,000

Mothra wants to destroy all the crystals to protect the earth and avoid any other kaiju from getting too powerful.

Mothra Larva recharges energy automatically but can't charge it by using C button. Mothra Lrva can't grab monsters or objects but can dig underground. Mothra larva has weak stats, but it can transform into Mothra Imago.

Imago has high speed, powerful long range attacks and many abilities but weak offense and defense. Both Mothras are only weak against poison attacks.

Moves

Varan

  • Cost: 30,000

Varan is a mysterious kaiju who joins the Earth Defenders in the fight for the earth. The reason for his assistance is unknown, but some think he's protecting his home.

Varan is a fast kaiju but doesn't have powerful range attacks. Varan doesn't fly, he slowly glides around the stage, descending while he's airborne. Like Anguirus, Varan can curl into a ball and roll across the stage.

Using the Alien Faction, play the "On the Mothership " level. On this stage, destroy all three purple structures on the wall. This will be fairly difficult, as each must be destroyed by the player's beam at a range where it's hard to tell if it was actually destroyed or not until backing away. Once this task is done, and the level beaten, select "Evicting Varan" on the Mothership level and defeat the creature to add him to the shop.

Moves

Gigan

  • Cost: Gigan is a starter character

In the previous games, Gigan was too weak to defeat most kaiju. Eventually, the Vortaak upgraded the cyborg and sent him into battle yet again.

Gigan has good offense and above average speed.

Moves

King Ghidorah

  • Cost: King Ghidorah is a starter character

A secret weapon of the Vortaak, King Ghidorah returns to the Alien alliance to destroy all humans.

King Ghidorah has a high offense and defense and an above average long range attack power. However, King Ghidorah is quite slow.

Moves

Mechagodzilla

  • Cost: 25,000

Mechagodzilla was the first kaiju the Vortaak sent to earth to try and destroy the humans. However, Mechagodzilla was defeated and destroyed by the Earth Defenders. After a long time, the Vortaak finally decided to rebuild and upgrade this mecha.

Mechagodzilla has awesome defense and long ranged attacks. Mechagodzilla can create a shield that reflects projectiles.

Unlock Alien Faction to add him to the shop.

Moves

Megalon

  • Cost: Megalon is a starter character

Megalon is the god of the Seatopians, an underground human race. However, Megalon doesn't like other humans who are destroying his civilization. Megalon rejoins the alien alliance to destroy the human race outside of Seatopia.

Megalon has good stats but weak defense. Megalon is able to dig underground.

Moves

Orga

  • Cost: 50,000

Orga is an alien who absorbed Godzilla's DNA to become Orga, a deformed but powerful kaiju. Orga teams up with the Vortaak to defeat Godzilla and the Earth Defenders.

Orga has amazing offense and good stats.

Unlock Alien Faction to add him to the shop.

Moves

Biollante

  • Cost: 30,000

Biollante joins the mutants to defeat her 'creator', Godzilla.

Biollante is the largest kaiju in the game. Her heavy weight makes lifting her impossible, even another Biollante can't toss her in the air. She can stretch her vines so that she can hit opponents from far away. Her offense is amazing but she is extremely slow.

Using the Earth Defenders, play the "Rumble in the Surf" at Tokyo. In the arena, there should be a building with a glowing green base and vines wrapped around it. Destroy this structure to have Biollante briefly emerge and then disappear. After beating this level, select the stage "Biollante" at Tokyo next, and beat the genetic monster to be able to purchase her at the shop.

Moves

Destoroyah

  • Cost: Destoroyah is a starter character.

Destoroyah joins the mutants to destroy all life on earth.

Destoroyah has above average offense and deadly long range attacks, hindered only by a slower speed. Destoroyah wields potentially the most powerful move in the game; its Horn Sword attack. Because of issues in the game's coding, this move does not use ANY energy in the wii version, effectively giving Destoroyah a disjointed attack that can hit enemies from a full character length away, potentially making him the strongest kaiju in the game. Spamming this move is almost a viable strategy given how much damage it does, its lack of an energy cost, its range, and how well it can combo with Destoroyah's Oxygen Destroyer projectile. Surprisingly, Destoroyah is strong against cold attacks and weak against heat attacks, unlike his movie counterpart.

Moves

Krystalak

  • Cost: 20,000

A life form created by Spacegodzilla's crystals, Krystalak wants to absorb their power to be the strongest kaiju in the universe. He joins the mutants so he can achieve his goal even faster than before.

Krystalak's offense and speed are above average. His other stats are about average.

Using the Alien faction, play the "Terran Mind-Control" level at New York. In the metropolis, destroy a large crystal structure with odd rock plates at the base that is found in the crater. Much later (around nine days after), the "Rise of Krystalak" stage will appear at New York and after selecting it and beating the monster the crystal creation will be added to the shop.

Moves

Megaguirus

  • Cost: 20,000

Megaguirus joins the mutants to find large amounts of energy to feed her enormous hunger.

Megaguirus has high offense and unbeatable speed. However, she doesn't gain energy normally, so she must steal the energy from crystals or other kaiju. She can 'steal' the opponent’s main projectile attack by absorbing it in a grapple.

Hold C button button: Weapon Fire (Requires Energy). After stealing an attack with her grapple move, Megaguirus can use her stored energy to fire the same projectile. The properties of this move are identical to the host, meaning that most can't knockdown an opponent unless she steals the Laser Eyes from Mechagodzilla or Mechagodzilla 2. The amazing thing about this attack, though, is that after using a bar of energy, Megaguirus can fire the beam for an indefinite amount of time as long as it wasn't her only bar of energy. On the downside, the ancient insect can not aim the beam using Remote button, and will have to physically move to direct the attack.

Using the Earth Defenders, play the "Enter General Gyozen" stage at London. At the city, destroy three giant light teal crystals. Once this is complete, near the end of the game, after the Atoragon is defeated, the "Wrath of Megaguirus" stage will appear at London. Select this and simply beat the monster to add it to the shop. Note: the "Enter General Gyozen" stage does not actually say "reveal a new monster"

Moves

Obsidius

  • Cost: 20,000

A creature created by Spacegodzilla's crystals and the magma of earth's volcanoes, Obsidius joins the mutants to absorb the energy in the crystals.

Obsidius has a good defense and attack but poor long range attack and speed. Obsidius can roll into a ball like Anguirus. Obsidius's stats in story mode are incorrect.

Using the Global Defense Force Faction, play the "Big Trouble" stage at Seattle. At the volcanic area, destroy the two cone shaped crystals down where the lava meets the water then complete the level. Afterwards, select "Birth of Obsidius" at Seattle and defeat the monster to add him to the shop.

Moves

SpaceGodzilla

  • Cost: 100,000

SpaceGodzilla, who was sent into another dimension in Godzilla: Save the Earth, tries to escape the dimension by creating millions of crystals. These crystals landed on earth, affecting the climate with their strange energy. SpaceGodzilla eventually escapes and tries to find his crystals and use their power to rule the universe.

Spacegodzilla's long ranged attacks are quite deadly, but SpaceGodzilla is really slow. SpaceGodzilla can't regain energy as fast as the other kaiju, but he can create crystals that regain his energy quite rapidly. SpaceGodzilla can also command the crystals to release energy blasts to damage other kaiju.

Using the Mutant Faction, beat the "Tyrant" level at the end of the game. This will add SpaceGodzilla to the shop.

Moves

Titanosaurus

  • Cost: 25,000

Titanosaurus was constantly disturbed by boats or submarines constantly swimming over his home. Although a peaceful dinosaur, Titanosaurus has no choice but to use the power of the crystals to stop the human civilization from ruining his life.

Titanosaurus has high offense but his long range attacks and speed are bellow average. Titanosaurus can create a large gust of wind that send opponents flying, but does no damage.

Using the Global Defense Force Faction, play the "Soloist" stage at Sydney. On the frozen land, destroy three circular "cake-shaped" ice structures that appear just outside the force field, meaning a beam will have to be used. After the ice structures are destroyed, and the level cleared, play the "Awakening Titanosaurus" level at Sydney and defeat the dinosaur to add him to the shop.

Moves

Jet Jaguar

  • Cost: 30,000

A robot created by a scientist, Jet Jaguar protects his home from any kaiju who could destroy the city.

Tiny Jet Jaguar has weak offense and can't grab the opponent, but is very fast. Normal Jet Jaguar has above average stats but pathetic long range attacks. At the beginning of a battle, Jet Jaguar has four energy cells. Giant Jet Jaguar is slow but powerful. Like Biollante, he can't be grabbed.

Unlock Global Defense Force Faction to add him to the shop.

Moves

Kiryu

  • Cost: Kiryu is a starter character.

The bones of Godzilla 1954 used in a robot, Kiryu is a powerful GDF mecha.

Kiryu is an even balanced character.

Moves

Mechagodzilla 2

  • Cost: 15,000

A robot created from future technology and designed to look like Godzilla, Mechagodzilla 2 helps save the human race with help from the GDF.

Mechagodzilla 2's stats are similar to that of Mechagodzilla. He also starts with four energy cells.

Unlock Global Defense Force Faction to add him to the shop.

Moves

Mecha-King Ghidorah

  • Cost: 50,000

A dying King Ghidorah revived by future technology is sent to the present to prevent the destruction of the planet along with other GDF mechas.

Mecha-King Ghidorah's offense and defense are slightly weaker than King Ghidorah's, but his long range attacks are stronger. He also uses a powerful shield for defense.

Tap C button: Taser (Requires Icon). Mecha-King Ghidorah releases two small blasts which will stun and remove all energy from the target. The blast requires an icon, which appears next to the cyborg's energy bars, and will come back again 30 seconds after the initial blast.

Using the Earth Defenders, play the "Invasion" at San Francisco. In the level, which features the Mothership looming overhead, simply defeat King Ghidorah. After this victory, select "M.K.G." at San Francisco and beat Mecha-King Ghidorah to be able to purchase the cyborg creature. It should be noted that since you have to face King Ghidorah in the "Invasion" level the player must select a character from the Earth Defenders that will allow this confrontation to happen, such as Anguirus or Baragon .

Moves

Moguera

  • Cost: 5,000

Moguera was the first battle mecha that was created by the GDF, but since it had a weak defense, it was not used a lot. Moguera would only be used if there was another GDF mecha in the battle or as a last resort.

Moguera is a lightning fast mecha with powerful long range weapons. However, it has weak offense and defense. Moguera players should avoid close combat. Moguera also gains energy automatically overtime, but at a slow rate.

B button + Generic Down.pngRemote button: EMP Bomb (Requires 1 Energy). Moguera drops a bomb that instantly detonates and leaves a blast radius for a short duration.

C button + B button: Power Down. The machine briefly powers down, leaving it immobile as its energy cells are completely refilled. If this move is done while in motion, and the joystick is held in a direction, Moguera will continue to roll as he is powering down.

Unlock Global Defense Force Faction to add him to the shop.
