In the world of Golden Sun, Weyard, there are many enemy monsters that roam the land. They range from ordinary forest animals to ghosts and other undead creatures. Here, they will be grouped on separate pages according to these types. Bosses are found on a separate page as well.
There are also "Families" of monsters that can be found in the game. These are usually recolored versions of the earlier monsters. They share common traits, but often have more techniques and are significantly stronger.

Spirits are ghostly creatures. The Amaze is commonly found right near the beginning of the game, so this species is often seen all over. Again, they're relatively weak, but sport a few magic attacks.

Flaming skulls that float on their own. They appear commonly through the first half of the game, in dungeons, forests, caves and plains. Normally they come in small groups together or with bigger monsters like Zombies.

Golems are enormous monsters created from clay and stone. They look roughly humanoid, but their abilities are very different. As might be expected from a monster made from the earth, most of their attacks are also of this element. Golems appear rather late in the game, in Altmiller Cave and beyond.
