32 0 34 6 10 1 5 5 Slimes are common enemies throughout the first half of the game. The weakest member of the Slime family, the slime only has one ability, Bone Chiller, which is water-based. They can be found in the overworld near Vale, Vault, and Lunpa. Slimes occasionally drop Herbs.

72 0 72 19 30 1 26 40 Ooze are the second level of Slime and it has a new ability: Divide, which allows it to split into two, effectively bringing a second Ooze into battle. It is found near Imil, and inside the Mercury Lighthouse and Fuchin Temple's cave. Once in a while, like the slime, it will drop an Herb.

99 0 134 27 54 2 51 77 The strongest member of the Slime family. Slime Beast has the ability to poison with the skill Sticky Poison, and like the Ooze, can Divide to bring more Slime Beasts into battle. Like all Slimes, it drops Herbs. It only appears in the deeper sections of Altin Peak.

In a normal battle, the Stone Soldier will consume all its PP immediately, and then continue to try using moves that cost PP, rendering it completely defenseless. They appear in the Suhalla Desert, but also flank the sub-boss Lizard King in Crossbone Isle. Occasionally it'll drop an Elixir.

It has the Psynergy skill Mad Blast, but it can only cast it one time; that doesn't stop it from trying later on in the battle, though. Thus, it wastes its turns making it relatively harmless beyond the first round. It's found in Venus Lighthouse and, in exceedingly rare cases, drops a Water of Life.

85 5 73 15 38 3 29 40 A tiny little creature that looks to be intelligent, the Gnome is the weakest member of the Gnomes. Gnomes use lots of magic, like Flare and Bolt. They can be found inside the Tret Tree and in Mercury Lighthouse, as well as near Bilibin Cave and Imil. An Oil Drop is a rare drop off it.

162 24 179 50 108 8 86 126 Gnome Mages, as their title would suggest, use lots of magic/Psynergy attacks, in particular Flash Bolt and Fireball. They live in Altmiller Cave and near Tolbi, across all of northern Gondowan. They have been known to drop Crystal Powder.

215 32 257 74 122 8 219 176 As the strongest breed of Gnomes, the Gnome Wizard sports the powerful Mother Gaia attack. It can also put party members to sleep. Gnome Wizards are found at the Suhalla Gate and inside the early portions of Venus and Babi Lighthouses. Like the Gnome Mage, Crystal Powder sometimes drops from it.

148 0 156 41 54 3 68 113 Orcs are ugly, pig-faced humanoid monsters. They aren't as intelligent as humans and cannot use any Psynergy. Orcs only attack, with the occasional use of the monster skill Spasm. Orc can be found in the Lamakan Desert, and they drop Nuts once in a while.

Orc Captains can be encountered near Gondowan Passage, Cave, Suhalla, Lalivero, and in the Suhalla Desert. They can drop a Smoke Bomb.

101 0 73 16 14 1 30 34 Trolls are grotesque creatures that live in forested areas. The most powerful attack in a Troll's arsenal is Brute Force, which can deal large damage. They can be found in Kolima Forest, Tret's Tree, and in the cold expanse near Imil. Trolls carry Nuts which can sometimes be found when they are defeated.

They don't appear until relatively late in the game, particularly near Gondowan Cave, the Suhalla Desert, and the outskirts of those areas on the Overworld. They have no abilities to speak of, and sometimes drop Sleep Bombs.

Its only skill is the incredibly powerful Truncheon Fist can potentially reduce a character's HP to 1 in a single blow. Rarely, it will drop a Giant Axe. Earth Golems can be found at the Suhalla Gate and the early part of Venus Lighthouse.
