Restrictions[edit]

You must reach Level 8 in order to enter the race in the Classic Muscle Car Championship. In addition, the following restrictions apply to your choice of car:

Nationality Flag of the United States.svg USA Year 1980 or earlier Tyres Unrestricted (GT5aspecicon.png) / Sports:Medium (GT5bspecicon.png)

Recommended Car[edit]

Any classic muscle car well tuned with a customizable gearbox to incease maximum speed will do, although if you've completed this event on A-spec, the Buick Special '62 can win the event in B-spec, given a set of Sports-Medium tires and some coaching to push hard on the straights.

The event consists of one individual race:

Prize Money[edit]

In this event, prize money is awarded for placing in the following positions in a race:

1st 14,570cr 2nd 10,520cr 3rd 9,310cr
4th 8,740cr 5th 8,500cr 6th 8,330cr

(December 2010/January 2011 increased rates)

Prize Cars[edit]

Cars obtained for getting Gold Trophies (i.e. finishing first) in both the races are as follows. Note that each car will only be awarded once, so be mindful of this if you choose to sell.
