Day 1 - New Year's Festival[edit]
On the first day of the second year, you get up and go directly to the mountain top. Once there, talk to the man standing on the ledge. This is the first sunrise of the of the year!! After that, talk to everyone there, and you will go home and to bed.
Day 2[edit]
Time to get back to work!! Be sure to head in to town and buy as much seeds and crops as you can. This will save time for you having to go into town to purchase crops or grass.
Also it might be time to reconfigure you planting strategies. Spring, is normally 3x3 for your crops. With the addition of the horses saddle bags, it might be more effective to move to rows.
Day 23 - Flower Festival[edit]
If you have already bought all the items from the peddler and are already married, the festival is optional. If you do go, it's just the same as year one.

Day 10 - Thanksgiving Festival[edit]
After taking care of your livestock, head in to town. During the festival go talk to the girls. Any girl who has three or more stars in their journal will give you a cake. The cake increases your happiness.
Day 24 - Star Night Festival[edit]

The first time in year 2 that you have more than 30,000G, the hawker will visit you to sell you the a "tree that grows money." The Money Tree works as a cow bell to get all cows outside back inside.
The first time in year 2 that you sell a cow, the hawker will come to you. He will offer to trade you very rare beans for the cow. Makes the trade. Wait till the next day and plant the beans at the top of the mountain. Leave to take care of your livestock, etc. The beans will sprout into a vine. When you climb the vine, you will find a chicken. The golden chicken will ask you if been working hard. Say yes, and you will be rewarded with the golden egg. Exit the door at the back, and you will be transported to town. The peddler will offer you 10,000G for it! You will head directly to bed afterwords.
