The Mystery of King Crimson
(キング・クリムゾンの謎 Kingu Kurimuzon no Nazo)
Bruno Bucciarati vs. The Boss

Bucciarati attacks the Boss from behind a pillar, only to find standing at the other side of it... himself?! The Boss introduces King Crimson's Stand ability to erase a period of time, then punches Bucciarati through the heart! Despite this lethal wound, Bucciarati refuses to die until Trish's safety is ensured.

Continuing as Bucciarati, you must now damage the Boss until he has lost a certain amount of health (the bright green section of his health meter; about 10%). The Boss has the same moves as the previous stage, but now his teleportation is marked by a brief pause as the screen inverts colors. This may throw you off as you attempt to attack the Boss, but a few Stand Shoots should be enough to deal the damage required to finish the stage.

Secret Factors
There is only one Secret Factor in this level, which is achieved automatically.
1. Clear the stage. (ステージをクリア)
This activates immediately at the start of the level, and rewards you with +10.

After the fight, the Boss commends Bucciarati's spiritual strength, but states that his end is near. Bucciarati counters that he's figured out that King Crimson's ability only lasts for a few seconds, and escapes the basement with Trish. Bucciarati then collapses from his injuries before being healed by Giorno, who had sensed something was wrong, and they flee with Trish in tow. Outside, Bucciarati informs his team that he has decided to betray the Boss and his reasons for doing so, and gives them the choice to either join him on the boat and aid in his betrayal, or to stay on the dock and avoid becoming traitors. Every member of the squad, with the exception of Fugo, choose to follow Bucciarati, with Narancia swimming after the boat after a moment of hesitation. Agreeing to hide Trish inside the turtle, Giorno realizes Bucciarati doesn't have a pulse... As the team ponders their next move, Trish remembers that her mother had told her of meeting her father at Sardinia, and so the team decides to take a plane there in hopes of finding leads to uncovering the Boss's identity.
