Jump Shot is a basketball arcade game that was released by Bally Midway in 1985; it ran on Namco Pac-Man hardware, but much like Shoot the Bull, it was released a year after their Japanese licensor had terminated their five-year partnership. The players must use an 8-way joystick, to take up control of two basketball players, who are codenamed "HOME" (blue) and "AWAY" (red), with two buttons to make them shoot the ball (if they are in possession of it) and block - and if only one player is playing, the second player will be controlled by the CPU. Just like in real basketball whichever player has the most points once the timer has run out wins the game (except, of course, in the event of a tie game).
