Normal enemies

Kirby's Adventure Waddle Dee.png
Waddle Dee
They are the most common enemies in the game. They walk quite fast, but that's all they do.
Kirby's Adventure Bronto Burt.png
Bronto Burt
At first they are usually still. If you get close, they will fly in your direction.
Kirby's Adventure Poppy Bros Jr.png
Poppy Bros Jr.
They move slowly, hopping. Sometimes you will find them riding an apple or even a Maxim Tomato!
Kirby's Adventure Cappy.png
Cappy
It walks slowly and hopping. If you try to suck it up, you'll only suck his hat the first time. You can then shoot it at the stalk to take it out. Attacking it in any other way will kill it directly.

Twizzy
These little birds usually come towards you flying and even moving vertically. Sometimes you find them perched at first.

Broom Hatter
They move slowly and jerkily. Very easy to defeat.
Kirby's Adventure Kabu.png
Kabu
These rotating heads disappear at regular intervals of time, only to reappear at another location. You can't attack them while they are flashing.
Kirby's Adventure Bounder.png
Bounder
You usually find them clinging to a wall. If you get close, however, they can also drop and start walking.

Scarfy
Despite their harmless appearance, they are insidious enemies. They appear suddenly and float in the air. They can't be inhaled, if you try, they'll make an evil face and chase you, then explode. You can kill them with another attack, but it's better to stay at a distance, because when hit they explode and can hurt you.

Acquatic Enemies

Aquatic enemies are generally not very dangerous, however if you encounter them in water you can only attack them with the watersprout or with skills that also work in water, which generally have a short range.

A slow swimming fish. Sometimes however, it leaps out of the water.
Kirby's Adventure Squishy.png
Squishy
They come at you while you are underwater. Sometimes however, while Kirby is out of the water, they can leap towards him.

Glunk
This enemy is always motionless. Occasionally it can shoot a short beam of stars upwards. Sometimes you can even find it on land.

Slippy
While in the water, it swims quite slowly, in all directions. However, it is also able to get to the ground and move by jumping.

It has practically the same behavior both in water and on land. It moves slowly, sticking to the bottom.

Indestructible Enemies

Spiky balls that move horizontally or vertically. You can also find them in water.

Shotzo
An immobile cannon firing at regular intervals. However, it can direct its shots in your direction.

Power Enemies

These are the enemies whose special abilities you can replicate by swallowing them after inhaling them.

Waddle Doo
They behave in a similar way to their fellow Waddle Dee, but they can also attack you with their beam (which however has a reduced range).

  • Obtainable skill: Beam
Kirby's Adventure Parasol.png

Parasol
It usually appears carrying an enemy attached to it. If you take out this enemy (or after setting it down), it will start attacking you on his own, flying rapidly around the screen.

  • Obtainable skill: Parasol
Kirby's Adventure Sparky.png

Sparky
They move by hopping slowly and occasionally stop, emitting a discharge of sparks. However, their attack has a short range and they can be inhaled easily.

  • Obtainable skill: Spark
Kirby's Adventure Laser Ball.png

Laser Ball
These enemies float in the air pretty fast. If you find yourself in front of them, they will stop for a moment (take the opportunity to suck them up) then they will attack you with their laser, which is very fast. After attacking, they usually leave.

  • Obtainable skill: Laser.
Kirby's Adventure Hot Head.png

Hot Head
They walk slowly and occasionally stop to spit flames. Their attack usually has a short range, but sometimes their flames can reach much further.

Kirby's Adventure Flamer.png

Flamer
These flaming enemies usually move very quickly, following the contours of the terrain. Sometimes, however, they can also float in the air, more slowly

Kirby's Adventure Chilly.png

Chilly
It always stands still in the same spot and at regular intervals it emits icy air, similar to the Sparks.

Pengi
It usually remains in the same position and attacks with its icy breath at regular intervals.

Sir Kibble
It always stays in the same spot and occasionally attacks by throwing its cutters, which have a long range.

Kirby's Adventure Spiny.png

Spiny
They move quite slowly and generally don't pose much of a threat.

Kirby's Adventure Rocky.png

Rocky
They move very slowly and can only be dangerous if they fall from above. The ability they provide is still powerful and also useful for defending yourself.

Kirby's Adventure Wheelie.png

Wheelie
They come at you whirling fast. They can't jump though, only change direction.

Kirby's Adventure Bubble.png

Bubble
They move by hopping around the screen, sometimes even sticking to a wall. They are however quite easy to inhale.

Kirby's Adventure Starman.png

Starman
You can find them both walking on the ground and flying through the air, even floating up and down.

  • Obtainable skill: Hi-Jump
Kirby's Adventure Twyster.png

Twyster
They are initially stationary, but if you get close, they will start flying rapidly across the screen, like a tornado.

  • Obtainable skill: Tornado
Kirby's Adventure Noddy.png

Noddy
They walk slowly, sometimes stopping to sleep. Very easy to kill. Don't acquire their skill, because it is completely useless.

  • Obtainable skill: Sleep
Kirby's Adventure Bomber.png

Bomber
These enemies walk very slowly, but if they fall off a step, they explode damaging everything around them. So suck them up in time to acquire a powerful skill.

  • Obtainable skill: Crash
Kirby's Adventure UFO.png

UFO
They are among the rarest enemies in the game. They come flying towards you quickly and usually disappear after a few moments. Suck them up quickly to get a very useful ability.

  • Obtainable skill: UFO
Kirby's Adventure Cool Spook.png

Cool Spook
It moves slowly, floating in the air. You usually find it in dark areas. Suck it up to gain its ability and light up the room.

  • Obtainable skill: Light
Kirby's Adventure Sword Knight.png

Sword Knight
It never moves much from its position. If you get close, it will attack you brandishing its sword, which however has a limited range. Easy to inhale.

  • Obtainable skill: Sword

Minibosses

Minibosses cannot be inhaled. To defeat them, you have to suck up the items they throws at you or the stars they releases, and then shoot them. With three hits you can defeat them. Alternatively, you can use a special ability if you have one. Only after defeating them you can suck up their body and acquire their special ability. Be quick though, because after a few seconds they explode.

Kirby's Adventure Poppy Bros Sr miniboss.png

Poppy Bros Sr.
He’s the first miniboss you meet and the easiest to defeat. He attacks you by throwing bombs or taking a long leap towards you. To defeat him, inhale the bombs he throws and throw them back at him. Defeat him to acquire a powerful skill.

  • Obtainable skill: Crash
Kirby's Adventure Mr Frosty miniboss.png

Mr. Frosty
This miniboss attacks you by charging or throwing ice blocks at you. Inhale the ice blocks and shoot them back at him. Easy to defeat.

  • Obtainable skill: Freeze
Kirby's Adventure Grand Wheelie miniboss.png

Grand Wheelie
It rotates back and forth across the screen, quite fast, sometimes pausing to release a Wheelie. Suck up these minor enemies and shoot them at the boss to defeat it. Don't do it while it is jumping in place, or you might miss.

  • Obtainable skill: Wheel
Kirby's Adventure Mr Tick-Tock miniboss.png

Mr. Tick Tock
It attacks by charging you. Every now and then it stops, making a screeching sound, which you must avoid. In these moments, however, it also releases notes that you can aspirate, and then shoot them at it. By defeating it, you can gain a powerful ability, not obtainable in any other way.

  • Obtainable skill: Mike
Kirby's Adventure Bugzzy miniboss.png

Bugzzy
It moves pretty fast. The thing you need to pay more attention to is its charge attack, which is extremely fast, stay away to avoid it more easily. Every now and then it releases two flies, which will come in your direction. Suck them up and throw them at Buggzy to defeat it.

  • Obtainable skill: Back Drop
Kirby's Adventure Shelatoss miniboss.png

Shelatoss
He is probably the most insidious miniboss. Despite the appearance he’s very agile, and moves by jumping or rotating. Try to stay at a distance and avoid getting caught. Every now and then he throws you small animals that you can suck up. After you do that, wait for him to stop for a moment and shoot them at him. Skills that allow you to strike from a distance can be very useful.

  • Obtainable skill: Throw
Kirby's Adventure Bonkers miniboss.png

Bonkers
He attacks by charging at you and then tries to hit you with his hammer. Move before he reaches you so that his shot misses. When he attacks, he releases a star, which you can suck up and throw at him. Every now and then he scratches himself, then throwing a coconut at you. This, too, can be sucked up and used to attack him. Don't attack him while he's jumping, or you may miss. His hammer comes in handy on many occasions.

Kirby's Adventure Fire Lion miniboss.png

Fire Lion
Another nimble miniboss. It moves jerkily, sometimes even jumping. It attacks you sometime in a similar way to the Flamers, so be ready to jump or fly to avoid it. When it takes a long jump, stopping above you, move quickly, before it falls on your head. After these jumps, the miniboss is stunned for a moment and drops a star. This is the best time to attack it: quickly suck up the star and shoot it at the enemy.
