| STAR BLOCK |  |
You will find them frequently within the levels. You can inhale and shoot them, just like with enemies, or remove them with your own attack. Sometimes you will be forced to remove them to proceed. Other times then, these blocks can hide secret doors, so it's always best to remove them. |
| BOMB BLOCK |  |
It is usually located near a stack of bricks. It will explode upon being attacked and it will remove all nearby bricks, clearing the way for you. Sometimes however, it can also serve a different purpose. |
| WARP STAR |  |
These stars allow you to move from one area to another of the same level. You will also find them inside the Warp Star Rooms. |
| SWITCH |  |
Pressing these switches will open up new zones on the world map you're in. They are usually well hidden and you will have to look for them. To complete the game 100% you have to find them all. These switches also fully restore your life energy. |
