Head to Gato and go to Matilda’s room. Daena and Matilda will be there. Talk to them to start the mission officially. You’ll learn that Irwin is planning to revive Lucemia to destroy the world. Talk to Daena if you want her in your party, then talk to Matilda again to get the Brooch of Love artifact. Return to the world map and use the artifact to create Lucemia. If you want to reach it, the Cancun Bird will automatically take you there.
You will now have to travel through Lucemia's corpse. This is the only time in the game where you can explore this area, so try to collect all the items. Follow the path. On the third screen, enter the hole, which leads inside the corpse. Proceed and you’ll find a chest with Rotten Meat in the next screen. Take the north path first, to reach a chest with a Zombie Claw at the bottom. Go back and take the path on the right. Proceed and before returning outside you’ll find another chest with a Creepy Eye inside.
Outside you'll meet Selva. He will ask you if you can take any more of Irwin's toying. Answer “Of course!” to continue your mission, or the second option to return to Gato. Then proceed until you find another hole. Go inside and take the path to the right. Proceeding, you’ll find a chest with Dragon Blood. Go ahead and take the path on the left. Take the Raven Feather from the chest, than go back and take the upper path. At this point go straight to the left. Ignore the first path leading out (it's a dead end) and at the end you'll find a chest with a Ghost's Howl. Then go outside, entering the hole nearby.
Here you'll see Selva again. He will ask you the same question and you can give the same answers, based on what you want to do. The lower path is a dead end, so take the upper path and enter the next hole at the bottom. There is a chest with a Messy Scroll inside. Take it, then head up. Proceed and you’ll find another chest with a Giant's Horn further on. Enter the hole to return outside. Proceed to the right until you reach the boss fight area. You'll meet Irwin up ahead. Talk to him. You have the opportunity to check your equipment, then retreat some steps to face Irwin in his demonic form.
Even though he is quite slow, Irwin has some very powerful attacks. His basic attacks aren't that great, but when he starts flashing, be careful. When he flashes touching ground with his hands, he will hit the ground violently causing an explosion, so move away. When he flashes black and a small image of himself appears, he will jump up in the air, appearing in the background and will shoot you causing an ever bigger explosion. Other times, after flashing, Irwin can create a hole in reality, through which he can reach his clawed hand to grab you. All of these attacks cause a lot of damage, so avoid them carefully. When Irwin isn't attacking you, stand against him and hit him with your strongest weapons. Unfortunately, you'll get no experience or Lucre after defeating Irwin.
After the battle, Lucemia will fall and breaks apart on the ground, but the Cancun Bird will rescue you. After a long scene in which Irwin and Matilda's fate is revealed, the mission will end.
