Prerequisites

This is the last mission involving Elazul and Pearl, so it is long and challenging. Go to Domina's church and you’ll find Inspector Boyd on the path. Talk to him. It doesn't matter what you answer him about Elazul and Pearl. He will ask you to help him investigate an abandoned shop in Geo. Accept and you will find yourself directly in front of Geo's jewelry store. The inspector will ask you to open the door (which is already open, however). When you enter, however, the inspector will not be able to follow you. Inside, you'll notice that the shop is now abandoned. Go back and you'll bump into Pearl. Elazul will also arrive. They will ask you to take a look around. Examine the box in the lower right. The box will turn out to be the Pandora Box, the other dimension you found yourself in during the previous mission.

Inside the box, you’ll meet Florina again. After a long conversation, the mission will finally officially begin. You will also be given the AF: Jumi's Staff, then Florina will vanish. You’ll have the opportunity to to bring either Pearl or Elazul with you. Elazul is a better fighter, however, choosing Pearl will let Elazul give you the SwordOfFate, a very good sword. To you the choice. Then step on the green circle to return to the abandoned shop. Exit Geo and place the Jumi's Staff on the world map, to create the Bejeweled City. Go there.

You will find yourself on a circular path, overlooked by doors with colored stones above. There's also a locked door, with two pedestals on either side, which you can ignore for now. Beyond each door there is a room where, after defeating some enemies, you can take a stone of that color, as well as open a chest. In particular, you can take a Sapphire (blue), a Topaz (yellow), a Ruby (red) and an Emerald (green). In the chests you’ll find a Mirror Piece, a Messy Scroll, a Magical Meat and a Holy Water. After getting all, return to the closed door. Your partner will detect something, and Pearl will change into Blackpearl if she's with you. Get ready to fight another Jewel Beast. The battle will not be anything new and this enemy should no longer cause you any problems. After defeating the boss, you have to place the right stones on the two pedestal to open the door. They are not always the same, so you have to try various combinations. When you have found the right ones, the door will open. Before entering, however, it is advisable to return to the rooms where the stones you just used were located, to obtain more, because you may need them shortly.

Once done, enter the door and go up the stairs leading to the second level. The situation here is very similar. Follow the circular path, collecting the stones found in the rooms you come across. Here you can get an Amethyst and an Aquamarine, as well as a Virgin's Sigh and an Angel Feather in the chests. There is also a screen where you will witness a strange scene from the past, with Esmeralda, Rubens, and Diana. After collecting everything, reach the locked door, with the pedestals. Examine the door and prepare to fight another Jewel Beast. Nothing new. Then you’ll have to place the right stones on the pedestals. There are three here and the right combination isn't always the same, so keep trying until you find it. This time too, before proceeding you should return to the rooms you have already been in, on the first and second levels, to recover the stones you have already used. Then enter the door and go up the stairs.

The third level is similar to the previous two, although smaller. There is only one stone you can get here, which is a Diamond. There is also a White Feather in the chest. To the right of this room you'll see another scene from the past. Then reach the closed door and examine it to face the last Jewel Beast. After defeating him, you will have to place the stones on the pedestals to open the door. There are four of them here, so it can take a while to find the right combination. Go up the stairs and enter the gate on the left.

You'll meet Alexandra inside, who turns out to be none other than Sandra, the jewel thief. She will call also the Lord of Jewels, who you met in the Mekiv Caves during a previous mission. After a short scene, he will attack you.

This boss is a tough opponent. It is difficult to hit it, because it flashes very often, charging powerful attacks. One those is a shower of crystals onto the ground, that will explode. Otherwise, it can fire a powerful laser beam or throw other gems, that explode upwards into stalagmites. Its normal attacks are also very fast. Therefore, be very careful to avoid its attacks and try to stay behind it as much as possible, so that you can attack it undisturbed between one attack and another. For this fight you should only rely on your most powerful weapons, preferably with a good range (spears or two-handed weapons).

After the fight, Sandra will sacrifice her own core, to energize the Lord of Jewels and you’ll have to face another boss fight, the last of this mission.

This battle is surprisingly easy. The boss floats in the air, so you'll want to use weapons with a good range, like in the previous fight. If you do this and attack quickly, you will probably be able to drain all of its life energy before it can use his best shots. In fact, in this second form, the boss is decidedly slower. You should defeat it without any particular problems.

After winning, you will witness a long final sequence, after which you will find yourself back in your home. Elazul and Pearl will say goodbye and the mission will end.
