The circuit champion of Circuit 3 is Basil the Batlord. His vehicle of choice sports a sharp, aerodynamic design that is all black and red. Adornments including a dragon head motif for the font fender, bat themed blades to the side, and a singular thruster at the back gives this ride an overall very gothic vibe.
Unlike our two previous circuit bosses, beating Basil The Bat Lord proves to be quite a challenge. Because instead of relying on a lv.0 powered brick of a certain color, he uses a variety of different powered bricks with varying degrees of firepower. This wide array of power-up usage more than enough sets him apart from the trigger happy captain and the feather-brained islander. However he does seem to have a few favorites(such as the lightning wand), as he tends to save up at least two white bricks before using a red or a blue brick(that doesn't mean that he won't pelt you with cannonball fire when given the chance). He also doesn't refrain from using green bricks and is not above using a warp if he gets his hands on one. Bottom line, the best strategy against him is to consume and horde all of the useful power-ups before he does and put as much distance between you and him as possible while your at it. Provided you can outrun him at all that is!
Knightmare-athon

Knightmare-athon has no shortcuts. Abuse warp as much as you can!
Pirate Skull Pass
- Course racer: Blackjack Hawkins
Pirate Skull Pass is pretty tricky. There is one shortcut here. When you're about to drive the last turn, there will be a small tunnel on your left. Use warp a lot!
Adventure Temple Trail
- Course racer: Sam Sinister
Adventure Temple Trail is the granddaddy of all courses. You must go into and through an abandoned temple while avoiding lightning, mummies, and rolling disks.Basil uses warp in this one, so steal all the whites and warp like crazy. There is one shortcut. Behind the King Kahuka statue in the right-hand corner there is a secret passageway to the idol sitting on the table.
Alien Rally Asteroid
- Course racer: Alpha Dragonis
Alien Rally Asteroid is easy. Use warp if you want to, but you don't have to. There is one shortcut. When you enter the base after the evil zapper, there is a wall. You have to grab a cannonball and shoot it to reveal the passage. It works best with the lightning wand.
