MVP Baseball 2005 is the last release in the MVP Baseball series to featured Major League Baseball teams. It was also the last MVP Baseball game released for the Nintendo GameCube and Windows. The PSP version is called just MVP Baseball. New innovations introduced in MVP Baseball 2005 include the new Hitter's Eye system, the addition of Class-A minor league teams (Class AA and AAA teams were introduced in MVP Baseball 2004), and minigames centered around the yearly spring training periods.
