Abilities[edit]
Max's abilities can be increased by exchanging Griffa tokens with Griffa. Each ability can be increased ten times. Tokens are earned by increasing Max's legend level, achieving legendary rank in death runs, and completing legend encounters. Griffa will appear in the region when you have at least one token.

- Increases maximum health
- Metabolism
- Gain more health from food
- Judgement
- Increases Max's legend level by one
- Essence
- Acquire more water from water sources
- Volition
- Acquire more scrap when looting
- Adaptation
- Consume less fuel when driving vehicles
- Attunement
- Deliver more damage when using a melee weapon
- Channeling
- Remain in Fury mode longer
- Munition
- Acquire more ammo when looting
- Intuition
- Use a melee weapon longer before it breaks
