  • Region: Aqua Road
  • Roads: Aquarium, Aqua Road & Hidden Street
Aquarium

Aquarium is the only town under the sea and is the main town of Aqua Road. Inside the one building are shops selling weapons and armors for half the price of the other stores. However, in MapleSEA and GlobalMS, the prices remain the same. There is an NPC outside called the Dolphin Taxi, which can take players to the furthest map, The Sharp Unknown, for one ticket, or in some versions, 1000 mesos. Tickets are acquired by a quest in Aquarium, and typically only ten can be achieved at one time. At The Sharp Unknown, a story book similar to the one in Helios Tower's Library, is located, which will take the player to Korean Folk Town. The Dolphin Taxi also has an additional function of sending players to Herb Town for 10,000 mesos. Also, the Fishing King mini-game from Taiwan's Night Market area takes place in an area similar to Aqua Road. Kenta, the inventor of the Tamable Monster Mounts, resides here.

Aqua Road

  • Level Range: 22-45
Aqua Road's First map, right outside Orbis Tower.

Aqua Road is an underwater-type area. The way players navigate differs from the norm, and there is also an HP-reducing feature similar to El Nath. It is the effect of drowning underwater. Air bubbles purchased from the shops in Town and dropped by monsters can negate this loss for 15 minutes at a time. Also, by doing a quest for Hughes in Orbis Tower B2, one can acquire an Air Tank that allows for breathing in Aqua Road permanently when equipped. Like Korean Folk Town, Aquarium does not have a World Tour NPC, though one was added in ThailandMS.

Aqua Road is accessible from the 2nd basement floor of Orbis Tower, or by descending down the well in Korean Folk Town. In some versions, it can also be reached from Herb Town via the Dolphin Taxi.

Players may jump to swim upwards. The monsters here are generally harder to defeat, due to the strange gravity system. The weaker monsters in the shallows are rarely hunted, mostly due to the fact that better training alternatives exist in areas closer to Victoria, and it is difficult for lower leveled characters to make it all the way down. At the far left, a hole in the Orbis Tower allows players to exit, and if one continues walking to the right, he will reach the town of Aquarium.

Monsters

Aqua Dungeon

  • Level Range: 85-110
The first map on the right side of Aqua Dungeon.

There are hidden streets near the outskirts of Aquarium to take you to the Aqua Dungeon. It is home to some of the strongest monsters in the game, along with Ludibrium's Clock tower and Leafre Dungeon. The monsters there range from level 80 to 110. At the bottom of Aqua Dungeon is a map where the giant fish boss Pianus is located. Pianus is considered one of the "Big Four" bosses. It is very difficult to defeat, only just behind Zakum. Pianus is not hunted as often, however, because it has inferior drops, as well as attacks capable of killing most archers and thieves in one hit. Also, unlike other bosses such as Crimson Balrog, Papulatus, and Zakum, a player killed in this map loses the full 5-10%, the same as they would anywhere else, as opposed to the usual 1% lost by death to bosses. Pianus's drops are capable of being picked up by anyone in the room, regardless of whether they fought the boss or not, providing another deterrent to prospective drop hunters. Still, in versions with the 4th job advancement it has become a target due to the quest items, skill books, and mastery books it drops.
