This is the controls for Mario Tennis.

N64 Controls

  • A button: Topspin shot. Press twice to add power to your shot.
  • B button: Slice shot. Press twice to add power to your shot.
  • A button then B button: Lob shot.
  • B button then A button: Drop shot.
  • A button+B button: Smash or flat shot.
  • Z button: Cancel charge shot.
  • R button: Use item.
  • Neutral control: Move. Change shot direction.
  • Start button: Pause.

Classic Controls

  • A button/Y button: Topspin shot. Press twice to add power to your shot.
  • B button/X button: Slice shot. Press twice to add power to your shot.
