The Twin Snakes

In certain sections of the game, The Twin Snakes' added gameplay features from Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty allow for certain shortcuts and other helpful tricks. These will be mentioned in blue boxes like this throughout the walkthrough.

Welcome to Shadow Moses Island, Snake. The island has recently been taken over by High-Tech Special Forces Unit FOX-HOUND, who are threatening to launch a nuclear weapon if their demands aren't met, and you're being sent in to stop them. You have been tasked with two objectives - rescue the two hostages being held within the facility, and put a stop to the terrorists' plans to launch a nuke. This document contains all the information you need for a successful infiltration of the nuclear weapons disposal facility, and swift completion of your mission objectives.
