Ordyne/Round 7

From StrategyWiki, the video game walkthrough and strategy guide wiki

Once Yūichirō and Sunday have reappeared on the screen, their ships will start flying forward as they come to two Muteppo that are firing projectiles at them in three directions.

Once you have fired enough shots at both of these to kill them, you will come up to three Ao Tanks, that are firing five spreading projectiles at you. Once you have fired enough shots at each of them to kill them, you'll come to a giant yellow windmill-type structure, that is spinning in an anticlockwise direction - and once you have made it to the other side, you will come to a fourth Ao Tank, that is firing five spreading projectiles at you.

Once you've fired enough shots at it, to kill it, you will come to two giant rocket-powered pistons that are moving up and down; once you've bypassed them, you will come to two more Ao Tanks that are firing five spreading projectiles at you. Once you've fired enough shots at both of these to kill them you will come to a rotating wall of blocks with twelve Kaiten Meiro No Taiho firing projectiles at you, from their positions on it - and if you fire a shot at a block with a blue arrow on it, it'll increase the rotating speed of the wall. Also, if you fire a shot at a block with a broken blue arrow on it, it'll decrease the rotating speed of that wall, and if you fire a shot at one with a red arrow on it, it will reverse the rotation of the wall; once you have made it to the other side, Miyuki Chan's Kūchū IN will pass by for a final time. For an eleventh time, when one of the players enters it, the other one will automatically be drawn in as well - and the first player will now have 20 seconds to choose between a Stock bomber shot (for 70000 crystals), a Fire bomb for 45000 crystals, and a Homing missile for 35000 crystals. The best choice would most likely be the Stock bomber shot, as Pac-Man will suck in the projectile-firing enemies' shots then spit them back out at them; once Yūichirō pays Miyuki for his chosen item, the pictures upon the screens will change and the second player will have 20 seconds to choose between a Fire bomb and Speed-up for 50000 crystals, an After shot and Speed-up for 40000 crystals, and an After shot and Homing missile of 60000 crystals. The best choice would most likely be the After shot and Homing missile as it is ten times more powerful than those normal shots and will automatically home in on any enemies currently on screen - and once Sunday has paid Miyuki for his chosen special weapon, he and Yūichirō will fly back out of the Kūchū IN and continue onward as five Maru Hodai and a seventh Ao Tank fire projectiles at them from their positions on the floor and ceiling.

Once you have fired enough shots at or dropped enough bombs on each of them to kill them, you will come to two Perikan that are rearing up, opening their fronts, and firing homing missiles at you; once you have fired enough shots at both of these to kill them, and collected the Crystals they have left behind, three Pyonpyon will come jumping towards you.

Once you have fired enough shots at each of these to kill them, the barrier in front of you will slide up and you will come to another rotating wall of blocks with twelve more Kaiten Meiro No Taiho firing projectiles at you from their positions on it - and for a second time, if you fire a shot at a block with a blue arrow on it, it will increase the rotating speed of that wall, if you fire a shot at one with a broken blue arrow on it, it will decrease the rotating speed of the wall, and if you fire a shot at one with a red arrow on it, it will reverse the rotation of the wall.

Once you have made it to the other side two Wani will appear in front of you and home in on you in order to eat your ships; once you have fired enough shots at both of them to kill them, then collected the Crystals they have left behind, you will come to three Kiwi Bases on the ground that will open up and release the Kiwi inside in groups of four (which will fly directly towards Yūichirō and Sunday, once they have reached their altitude).

Once you have dropped enough bombs on each of them to destroy them, you'll come to a cross-shaped structure that is spinning in an anticlockwise direction and has two Nokogiri moving up and down above and below it - and once you have made it to the other side you will come up to three Nuts that are moving left and right while spinning in an anticlockwise direction.

Once you have bypassed them a fourth Pyonpyon will come bouncing towards you down a diagonally ascending passage; once you have fired enough shots at it to kill it, then made it to the top of the passage, a fifth Pyonpyon will come bouncing towards you. Once you have fired enough shots at it to kill it, you will come to twenty-four K-Blocks, that are moving either vertically or horizontally - and once you've bypassed them, four more Pyonpyon will come bouncing towards you.

Once you've fired enough shots at each of them to kill them, you'll have to make your way around five platforms with four more Ao Tanks firing five spreading projectiles at you (and two more Pyonpyon bouncing towards you) on them; once you have fired enough shots at each of these to kill them, the barrier in front of you will slide up and Dr. Kubota's powerful dog-like machine rolls into view from the right side of the screen. The cockpit, in its head, is its only vulnerable point, and once you have fired enough shots at it to defeat it, it explodes and the evil doctor ascends to heaven as an angel - and you will now receive 20000 points for every life you have remaining, and the amount of crystals you have remaining will also be added to your score. Yūichirō and Sunday will now fly down to Kana Aihara, who has appeared in the window in the bottom-right corner of the screen; you can now sit back and enjoy the ending, which shows Yūichirō and Sunday letting Kana have the honour of firing a shot at Dr. Kubota's space station to burn it up and transform it into a volcanic explosion cloud, and all three will fly into it, as it carries them back down to Earth:

After the credits have finished, the game will go into its high-score mode; your scores will most likely be the two highest ones on the cabinet to date so you should enter your initials at the top of the table with pride regardless of which way round they're positioned. Once you've done it, the text "GAME OVER" will appear on the screen, and the game will go back into attract mode.
