Move to the Plaza of Devotion.

Plaza of Devotion[edit]

Talk to Ema:

  • The incident: Ema tells you that Zeh'lot died due to a stab in the spinal cord while in a prayer pose, in addition to there being no witnesses. Zeh'lot's Autopsy Report and Crime Photo added to the Court Record.
  • Murder weapon: Ema tells you that the murder weapon was Kee'ra's dagger, who Maya is suspected of being. Warbaa'd Dagger added to the Court Record.
  • Motive: According to the police, since the High Priest has been found as a rebel, the victim who is an apprentice of the High Priest, might also be a rebel. Thus making it the motive for Maya (who they thought is the Lady Kee'ra in disguise) to kill them.

Examine the White flowers. It's a flower called the Nahmanda Flower that is used to pay tribute to the departed and express sorrow or sympathy. Nahmanda Flower added to the Court Record

Examine the Prayer carpet.

Examine the White outline, the victim was killed when he was in a praying position.

And lastly, examine the Purple prayer flag. It's a brand new flag attached on the strings with the other player flag at the Plaza of Devotion. "At the usual spot. Bring grub. The key, too." is scribbled on it, Brand New Flag added to the Court Record.

Move to the High Priest's House.

High Priest's House[edit]

Talk to Beh'leeb:

  • Puhray Zeh'lot: Zeh'lot was brought into the Inmee family 2 years ago as Tahrust's disciple.

Examine the left framed photo on the desk. You will found a photo of Puhray Zeh'lot, Beh'leeb Inmee, Tahrust Inmee, and Maya showing a Plumed Punisher Strap. Family Photo added to the Court Record

Present the Family Photo to Beh'leeb.

  • The day before: An event called the "Feast of Blessings" had been held the previous day. It was the last time Beh'leeb saw him and Maya. Beh'leeb's Statement added to the Court Record

Move to the Detention Center.

Detention Center[edit]

Talk to Maya.

  • Zeh'lot's murder: Maya will restate that she remembers nothing after the half point of the rite.
  • Puhray Zeh'lot: Zeh'lot was a very quiet person according to Maya, right after finishing the meal, he returned to praying, coinciding with Beh'leeb's statement.
  • Lady Keera's identity: Maya will go on to say that, again, she saw no 3rd party enter the rite with her and Tahrust, and will start to ramble on about absurd theories in regards to Keera's identity and way of entering the rite

Move back to the High Priest's House.

High Priest's House (2)[edit]

Examine the Steel Samurai bag. Tome of Secrets added to the Court Record.

Talk to Rayfa.

  • Tome of Secrets: The tome is very important to Khura'in, and Rayfa believes you will be cursed if you look upon it. Nayna allows her to tell you that it is important because it contains the real name of Lady Kee'ra, and that only the priestess playing the role of Lady Kee'ra can gaze upon it.
  • Lady Kee'ra's real name: In Khura'inism, a person's name is very important. It is necessary for a priestess to reach a person's mitamah during rituals, as well as their face. Without both, a spirit cannot be identified and reached once deceased. Rayfa also mentions it is also necessary in Khura'inism's most secret art. She doesn't think a foreigner like you would have any idea of what that secret may be, but you just might have an inkling.
  • The queen's secret art: Khurai'nism's most secret art is that of spirit channeling. Within Khurai'in, it is a technique only the queen has access to... supposedly. Phoenix tries to pretend this is new information to him. Rayfa also tells you that no matter how long a spirit has been dead, their memories stop at death, so being brought back through channeling feels like no time at all to the summoned spirit, and their memories of life can be recalled exactly.
  • Rayfa's spiritual power: Although Rayfa is of the royal lineage, she states she still has much to learn and cannot channel spirits yet. Her ability to perform the Divination Séance is the peak of her current spiritual power.

The scene will automatically move to the Bazaar.

Bazaar[edit]

Examine the Manhole.

Rebel Safehouse[edit]

Examine Dhurke's Law Office (Rebel Safehouse for now) specifically, the Branded book Dhurke's Law Book added to the Court Record, then, examine the Poster of the queen with a knife attached, the Photo-laden board, which features some familiar looking faces (It turns out Dhurke is the father of prosecutor Nahyuta and the adopted father of Apollo Justice!), the Refrigerator, the White flowers and Incense, Dhurke's old robe, the Food on top of the table, and Dhurke's business sign.

Talk to Datz.

  • The high priest's murder: It seems Datz really can't remember anything about the murder after banging his head on his descent. He was unconscious at the scene of the crime until dawn.
  • Dhurke the attorney: Dhurke believed in some pretty similar philosophies to Phoenix when he was still a lawyer- namely, his refusal to surrender no matter the odds and his unwavering belief in his clients.
PW PsycheLock.png
  • Mr. Are'bal's plan: Datz claims his only goal was to escape from prison, that the high priest was foolish for getting involved with the rebels, and that he should have fled the country like Datz is trying to do. 4 Psyche-locks appear.

Use the Magatama.

Talk to Datz again.

  • Mr. Are'bal's plan: Datz was testing you to see if you were on the side of the royals, but you passed. He's here to get the key to an even secret-er rebel base, where he is to receive further orders from Dhurke, although he's unsure if he can complete that mission due to the amount of police currently searching for him in town. He still can't tell you much about the order, but he can give you something that he calls a key. Golden Orb added to the Court Record.
  • Lady Kee'ra: Datz doesn't know anything about the person dressing as Lady Kee'ra in modern times, but says he was personally hauled off to jail by her. He says she's been watching the rebels and having them framed for crimes they didn't commit. Reminds you a bit of a certain "secret weapon" you've heard about before.
  • Goal of the revolution: The entire goal of the revolution is centered around the Defense Culpability Act, and removing it from Khura'in law. It seems it was enacted in response to the assassination of the former Queen, but has led to nothing but corruption in the country's legal system since. Datz also thinks Dhurke was framed in her murder, but his criminalization has led to the criminalization of all lawyers in Khura'in. It also turns out that Divination Séances have been being performed in court for longer than you thought, and that before the DCA, they were often contested by defense attorneys similar to what you're doing.

You will automatically move back into the Bazaar.
