Maya channels Tahrust Inmee's spirit to make him testify.

Tahrust's Testimony: I Have an Alibi[edit]

Tahrust
Tahrust
Tahrust's Testimony
- I Have an Alibi -
  1. I have an ironclad alibi for the time during which the murder took place.
  2. Just past noon on the day before the rite, I was entertaining guests at my home.
  3. And I believe my guests can corroborate this.

I Have an Alibi: Cross-Examination[edit]

Press all statements, Tahrust will mention that the Magistry was the guest and he can corroborate on it

A new statement is added to the testimony.

  • My guests that day were His Magistry and his family. They visited from 2 PM to 3 PM.

Press the new statement. Unfortunately, Phoenix can't find a contradiction since the Magistry was guest and he can back up Tahrust's Alibi, however it would be odd that Tahrust knows a certain detail that wasn't brought up once he was channeled, there is a problem and because he knew the time of the crime. He will explain how he knew the time with a new testimony.

Tahrust's Testimony: I Heard Everything[edit]

Tahrust

Tahrust's Testimony
- I Heard Everything -
  1. I was entertaining His Magistry and his family when the crime occurred.
  2. When I listened to the tape later, I heard a man and a woman quarreling.
  3. It sounded like an altercation between Acolyte Zeh'lot and Acolyte Fey.
  4. After that, there was a loud noise, followed by haunting silence.

I Heard Everything: Cross-Examination[edit]

Press on the first statement, then ask to add new testimony. A new statement is added between the first and second statements:

  • My wife Beh'leeb was in the kitchen cooking the entire time.

Press on the fourth statement, then ask again to add new testimony. A new statement is added afterwards:

  • I would describe the noise as a terrible crash. Poor Zeh'lot... It must have felt so heavy.

Press on all remaining statements, including the new ones.

The Rebel Hideout Photo is updated in the Court Record.

Present the Rebel Hideout Photo on the last statement.

If Abbott Inmee has an alibi, how could have he known something only the killed knows? Select He heard it from the real culprit. When asked who is it, select Beh'leeb Inmee. Tahrust snaps from hearing this, and is ready to testify once again to prove Maya is Lady Kee'ra.

Tahrust's Testimony: Maya Fey is Lady Kee'ra[edit]

Tahrust
Tahrust
Tahrust's Testimony
- Maya Fey is Lady Kee'ra -
  1. Acolyte Fey channeled Lady Kee'ra's spirit.
  2. She is a spirit medium who knows Lady Kee'ra's true name, so she could have done it.
  3. So, it was the real Lady Kee'ra who returned to root out the rebels among us.
  4. She attacked and killed me with a strength far beyond any mortal woman.

Maya Fey is Lady Kee'ra: Cross-Examination[edit]

Present the Tome of Secrets on the second starement.

Present the mask covering Lady Kee'ra's face. It couldn't have been possible for Maya to channel her spirit because you need the name and the face of the person.

But if Maya or Beh'leeb are not the rebel hunter disguised as Lady Kee'ra, then who is it? There is only one suspect left. Present Puhray Zeh'lot's profile.

Prosecutor Sahdmadhi wants you to show evidence of your claims, so present Lady Kee'ra's Warning. Maya was not the only one who could have went to send the warning to Inmee's house, as Zeh'lot could also enter the house. Lady Kee'ra was not the culprit, but the victim!

But then, who killed Zeh'lot? Beh'leeb Inmee could have dressed as Lady Kee'ra.

Lady Kee'ra can only be one of them, but who?

Just then, Tahrust interrupts the conversation. He recalls when Phoenix said that the Plumed Punisher theme heard in the Séance vision was from the alarm clock at the rebel hideout. If it was constantly sounding, woulnd't that have alerted anyone who walked into the Inner Sanctrum? He says that the alarm was actually switched off at all times. This would leave Maya's Plumed Punisher Strap as the only source of the sound. Tahrust remembers hearing the distinctive taiko drums at the beginning of the theme song. Wait a minute. That seems odd. Present the Plumed Punisher Strap.

There are no taiko drums in The Plumed Punisher theme. Then what did Zeh'lot hear in his final moments? Select The Steel Samurai theme.

How is that possible? Maya happened to meet a Plumed Punisher fan at Khura'in who traded their Plumed Punisher Strap for Maya's Steel Samurai Watch, both of which play their respective themes. When asked for evidence to show who has The Steel Samurai Watch, present the Family Photo, then present the watch on Beh'leeb's left wrist. She is wearing the Steel Samurai Watch!

Suddenly, Prosecutor Sahdmadhi breaks silence. If Beh'leeb was dressed as Lady Kee'ra and killed Zeh'lot, then he would be dead when Tahrust was killed.

Think, Phoenix, think!

Revisualization[edit]

Phoenix looks back and think on what could have told him something about the crime scene, it was Maya's Testimony, the spring was tainted with blood because of Zeh'lot's blood, because of that incident, the high priest can't call the police because he wanted to keep the hideout hidden, so he pushed through the rite to set up the scene during it, and to cover Zeh'lot Blood he used his own blood by Tahrust himself

Phoenix realizes that Tahrust's Death was a Suicide

Proving a Suicide[edit]

Prosecutor Sahdmadhi says that Tahrust could not have killed himself using Lady Kee'ra's dagger, as Maya must have taken it to place it on Zeh'lot's dead body at the Plaza of Devotion after stabbing Tahrust.

But what if the dagger was on Zeh'lot's body the whole time? Select Tahrust died by a different weapon.

Present Warbaa'd Statue as the weapon that killed Tahrust. It took both victim's lives!

Suddenly, Beh'leeb comes in, and Tahrust seems nervous of what she is about to say. It's 2:30 PM, and her watch starts playing the Steel Samurai's theme. This is because that is the time in which Tahrust prays, so Beh'leeb set it as an alarm to remind herself. She said this was also the time that Zeh'lot was killed, reason why the speaker in the rebel hideout recorded the song. Tahrust, horrified, screams and faints.

Lastly, present Dhurke's Law Book. Tahrust proceeds to confess.

What REALLY happened[edit]

Beh'leeb and Tahrust Inmee are rebels. Puhray Zeh'lot was the Lady Kee'ra rebel hunter and a member of the secret police, serving directly under the minister of justice, Inga Karkhuul Khura'in. He discovered Beh'leeb at the rebel hideout while she was planning Datz Are'bal's escape. She had no choice but to kill him. She pushed the stone slab and made Zeh'lot fall on his back, getting stabbed by the Warbaa'd statue.

Tahrust chilled Zeh'lot's body in the snow and then took it to the Plaza of Devotion to make it look like the murder was more recent, then placed the Lady Kee'ra dagger where his stab wound already was. He didn't tell Beh'leeb any of this, fearing she would have tried to stop him.

Tahrust tried to frame Maya. To place her fingerprints on the dagger, he had her hold it in her hand during the rehearshal prior to the day of the rite. Finally, as seen in the first Séance insight, he placed Lady Kee'ra's robes on the Warbaa'd statue, ran into it and stabbed himself. As he was dying, he took off the robes off the statue before collapsing on the ground.
