Pokémon Black and White/Route 7 and Twist Mountain

On your way to Icirrus City and your seventh Gym Badge, you have to pass through the large system of caves that is Twist Mountain.

Route 7

Proceed on Route 7, although take the eastern path through the grass instead of the northern one. You will soon arrive at the exterior of Twist Mountain! As soon as you are there, Cheren appears, wanting to see who is stronger now the two of you both have six gym badges.

After defeating Cheren, Alder, Unova's champion, jumps down from the cliff, talking to both you and Cheren about ambition, and giving you both HM03 (Surf). Now you can use Surf and go to a few previously-unreachable areas (see 'Sidequests' for that). Now, head through the tunnel into Twist Mountain!

Twist Mountain

Twist Mountain is a mining mountain, full of excavations of valuable metal ore. But in winter, things change. A lot. If winter is your in-game season, then there will be a few hidden items and season-exclusive trainers. It's important you follow the guide for your in-game season. This is still in progress
