Pokémon Black and White 2/Controls

The controls in Pokémon Black and White 2 are very similar to those of Pokémon Black and White, with a few minor changes and additions.

Field

Control	Action	Notes
	Move around.	Can be used in conjunction with to run once the running shoes have been obtained.
	Talk with NPCs, interact with objects, select a command, scroll text.
	Cancel actions, cancel a command, continue conversation.	Can be used in conjunction with to run once the running shoes have been obtained.
	Open/close the menu.
	Open list of registered key items/menu screens, use registered key items/screens.
	Rearrange list of registered key items/menu screens.
	Select choices on the menu, operate the C-gear.

Menus

Control	Action	Notes
	Navigate choices.
	Select choices, register favourite medal in the Medal Box, rearrange a Pokémon's moves on the summary screen, show the Badge Case when viewing the Trainer Card.
	Cancel actions, return to previous menu.
	Close all menus and return to the field.
	Register selected key item/menu screen.
	Sort items, begin the search feature on the Pokédex and Medal Box.
	Rearrange items in a list, zoom in when using the Town Map.
	Jump to the top of the Pokédex list, moves six items up in the bag.
	Jump to the bottom of the Pokédex list, moves six items down in the bag.
	Select choices, perform various menu-specific actions.	All actions that can be performed using the buttons can also be done with the stylus.
