Pyrite Town is a much different place than Phenac City. Upon first entering Pyrite Town, a cutscene will play. Places to note include the Police Building (on the east side of the street, with orange doors) and Duking’s house (brown, with a stylized white “G” on the wall). Another cutscene will play when you first enter the Police Building. The Police Building is notable because it contains a PC, where you can save your game. If you visit Duking’s house, a cutscene will play. You can use a secret switch (located to the left inside Duking’s house) to visit a second room for another cutscene.
There are a number of Pokémon Trainers that can be battled within Pyrite Town, and many of them have Shadow Pokémon. The first is located just to the west of the Poké Mart.

There is no Pokémon Center in Pyrite Town. Instead, if you need to heal your Pokémon, you can go to the Hotel building (on the left side of the street, deeper inside the area). They will charge you 100 to fully heal your Pokémon. That being said, if you go all the way to the back of Pyrite Town, to where the Colosseum is, there is a free healing machine located there as well.
The following items are available at the Poké Mart:
