Get A Pokétch App and a Key Item

As you walk into the route, the professor's assistant will enter the route and tell you to pick a hand. It doesn't matter which hand you pick, as you will get both items anyway. One hand contains the Vs. Seeker, a key item that lets you re-challenge Trainers that you have already battled, and the other hand contains the Dowsing Machine, an app that lets you search for hidden items.

The Bike Ramp

The sandy hill at the bottom of the route leads to Oreburgh City, where you can stock up on supplies and heal. To get back up the ramp, you need to be riding the bike while it is in 4th gear.
