Pokémon Diamond and Pearl/Route 226

From StrategyWiki, the video game walkthrough and strategy guide wiki
Route 226
Route 226

Route 226 connects the Survival Area to Route 228 and Route 227. It's a mixture of land and water. It's also the only route where you can catch a Horsea and Seadra.

Walk to the grass above the sign post and climb the wall. Go all the way left past the house and near the ledge is a hidden Max Revive which was mentioned in the Survival Area page. Go back down the climbable wall then go past the sign post and go up the next climbable wall to find Ace Trainer Graham. You will find a berry patch if you go up the wall but the berries need to be watered and grow before you can pick them. You will want to climb down the wall next to Graham then go through the grass and climb down the wall. All the way to the left is a Carbos. Go back and climb up the wall twice. To the left is a Lagging Tail. To the right are Bird Keeper Geneva and Dragon Tamer Stanley. Climb down the wall behind Geneva and Stanley to pick up TM53 Energy Ball. Go back up the wall and go down the other wall then go through the grass and onto the beach. Climb up the wall and in the grass patch are hidden 2x TinyMushrooms and a hidden Big Mushroom. Go back down the wall and surf into the southern passage in front of Swimmer Lydia to a small beach to grab the hidden Big Pearl. Go back to Lydia and face her. Continue surfing and stay along the southern rock line until you reach the end to find Swimmer Wade. Go back to the house you past early and swim behind it into an opening of the tree line which has a hidden PP Up. Again go back to the house and go right to swim in the middle passage way to get back onto land and when you go up through the grass you will be on Route 227.

Pokémon Meister[edit]

His house is in the middle of the water. He will upgrade your Pokédex so you can read a Pokémons entry in another language if it was traded from another country like Japan, Germany or France.

After this he will want to trade you a German Magikarp for a Finneon.
