Stardust
Stardust, along with Candy, is required to Power Up Pokémon.
There are a number of ways to get Stardust, the amount varying significantly:
- Catching a Pokémon
- Hatching a Pokémon egg
- Collecting the reward for holding Gyms
Candy
Candy is used to Power Up and Evolve your Pokémon.
There are a number of ways to get Candy:
- Catch a Pokémon - 3 Candy
- Evolve a Pokémon - 1 Candy
- Transfer a Pokémon - 1 Candy
- Hatch a Pokémon egg - 5 to 32 Candy (varies with size)
- Walk with your buddy - 1 Candy
