This is a pretty short cave, but it is full of goodies. Onix and Sandshrew are new additions to your Dex. There are some Hikers using mostly Rock/Ground types, with a few Firebreathers thrown in, easily noticed by their orange hair and red clothes. There are some items on the ground, a few hidden items in some rocks, but nothing of real importance.

Come back here when you have HM03 (Surf) and HM04 (Strength) and you'll be able to fully explore it. On Fridays if you surf through the southwest, go down a ladder, and navigate to the end, you will find a Level 20 Lapras, which is one of the better Water/Ice hybrids. Heading out north in the basement will lead you to the Ruins of Alph, but you need HM03 (Strength) to fully navigate through.
