Ringtown Ranger Base[edit]

You've cleared your mission AND you were able to deal with Go-Rock on top of it! Congratulations, your Ranger Rank is now 6! You can now use the Flying Assist.

Spenser says that you should relax a bit after all the stress, but that you shouldn't stray too far from town, in case a mission appears. Head out of base.

Capture Contest[edit]

Since you can't leave town, there's not really much else to do than participate in the Capture Challenge, located in the top right of town. You must capture as many Pokémon as you can in 3 minutes. Each Pokémon has a different point value, and your goal is to beat Joel's record of 5000 points. Below are listings of each currently available Pokémon as well as their point values.

Afterwards, head back to the Base, and Solana/Lunick will tell you Spenser was looking for you, and that they've been stationed at Summerland. Head into Base.

The Wayward Wanderer[edit]

Spenser informs you that an esteemed elder needs help in Lyra Forest. He wants you to find the lost man and bring him to a safe place. Head out of the Base and into Lyra Forest.

Lyra Forest[edit]

You'll find Solana/Lunick, and they say they want to go with you before heading off to Summerland. Head up and you'll find a dad, who seems to have lost track of his daughter and her Jigglypuff. You say that you'll find her. Keep heading up until Solana/Lunick stops you and pulls you to the side to show you the correct way to go. She says this part of the Forest is called Labyrinth Grove as it's easy to get lost there. You'll also see a Jigglypuff come from there, leading you into the grove. Head left into Labyrinth Grove, but not before going down after crossing the bridge to find a new Pokémon, Marshtomp.

Afterwards, go back up and into Labyrinth Grove.

Labyrinth Grove[edit]

You'll find a girl with a Jigglypuff. She's crying because her other Jigglypuff went into the deepest part of the grove. Solana/Lunick will stay with the girl while you go capture the Jigglypuff to bring it back to the girl. There are a couple new Pokémon in this area.

There's also a Phanpy. If you capture it and use its Field Move on a tree, you can capture a Beedrill.

You can also bring another Phanpy to the tree closer to the middle of the area to find another new Pokémon, Ninjask. Watch out, as despite only taking a single loop, it's very evasive and hard to catch, so use an assist if needed. The tree on the left side just contains another Beedrill.

Take the Beedrill to the right side of the grove and use its Field Move to break the small rock to find a Wartortle.

After you've finished capturing everything, go take Jigglypuff to the girl. She'll thank you and Solana/Lunick takes her and the Jigglypuff back to her father. The girl will mention an older man who yelled at her Jigglypuff, scaring it.

After they leave, go left to the next screen. You'll see a small shrine to the magic and life of the grove. If you continue walking left, you'll get a message from Spenser, telling you that the old man got lost because of Weepinbell chasing him around the forest. He informs you that they'll kick any intruder out of the woods. Keep going left to the next screen.

You'll find a couple new Pokémon here, including Weepinbell. Make sure to not get spotted, otherwise you'll be shot out to the beginning of the grove.
