Chapter 5[edit]

Return of Nuzleaf[edit]

Nuzleaf has returned home at this point, so walk into his room to have him greet you. Proceed to head outside once the cutscene ends. Your partner won't come outside to walk to school with you. It will be a while before he does that again, so don't worry. Head on over to the square to initiate a cutscene. Lombre has come back with news about the honey they're making in Nectar Meadow. Sounds yummy! (don't worry this will be important later)

Alliances[edit]

Head on over to the Kecleon Shop and restock your healing items, or if you don't feel like it, use one of the Wonder Mail Codes. They can be used at any time. Head to the school when you are done. After a quick cutscene in which Pancham asks where you come from (and undeniably gets shocked about the fact you are indeed a human), class starts. Of course, around third period, Watchog and the local sheriffs (who all happen to be evolutions of Magnetite) teach you about alliances, where you set up a crazy strong attack with your team. After the sheriffs beat the shredded cheese out of Watchog (he deserves this), he allows you to demonstrate your own. Using Pancham, Shelmet, and Espurr, you come up with your own alliance. Doesn't even have to be a good one, just come up with an alliance.

Again, after you beat the shredded cheese out of Watchog (it's quite ridiculous to watch, to be honest), he faints. After school, you end up walking home on your own. Save and Continue.

Yet Another School Day (Or Is It?)[edit]

If you really want to, restock your Tiny Reviver Seeds. You'll have a chance to do it in a bit, but it's always better to start early. Anyways, during health class, Roselia asks if Audino has seen her kid (Budew), before collapsing right there on the spot. That's when you realize... Budew totally went to Nectar Meadow to get some honey for her mom! You and your partner decide to ditch class (yeah yeah, Watchog DOES yell at them later) and go find Budew. Save and Continue.

Head on over to the Kecleon Shop (if you must), and then head to the village gate. (Told you that cutscene would be important)

Nectar Meadow[edit]

Nectar Meadow
Main Type Bug, Normal, Grass
Amount of Floors 9
Monster Houses? No
Traps? Yes
Emeras? Yes

This dungeon isn't that hard, and Floor 9 is always the same (due to a mission you can do in a later chapter), so this should be easy. There is a rest stop on Floor 4, so restock if necessary. If not, continue. When you reach the 9th floor, look for the exit. When you find it, make a note as to where it is, because that's where it always is, due to the quest. You should reach around Level 9-11 with you and your partner, if you have actually been fighting enemies this whole time.

BOSS: The Honey-Making Crew (Beedrill×2, Combee×3)[edit]

This is a fairly easy boss if you have Fire types. If not, kill 'em with blast seeds. If you don't have Blast Seeds OR Fire types, Totodile is actually really good for this fight because he starts with Ice Fang, which does a whopping 60 damage at most (to Combee). Do be careful, because Beedrill has Fury Attack, which, if it hits you all 5 times, it can kill you. So that is a tiny issue, but if you take out Beedrill first, this should not be an issue. The best way to handle this? Alliances. Find two overpowered moves out of you and your partner's moveset (or whatever is most effective) and use them! Combee has (at most) 60-65 HP (estimated). Beedrill has around 150 (also estimated). This should be a little harder than Gabite, but not too hard.

After the fight, the Honey Making Crew says that they underestimated you, before deciding to attack all at once. They are immediately stopped by Vespiquen, who lets Budew have honey for free. What about us?? Save and Continue.

Harmony Scarves[edit]

Later on, Roselia gives you a Perfect Apple, a Weather Looplet, Pure Seeds, and some Guiding Wands. Wow, she really is grateful! She heads off after thanking you for saving Budew, and warns you that you ARE only children, so you need to be careful. She isn't wrong. After a lengthy cutscene in which your partner gives you a Harmony Scarf (as your partner calls it), you and your partner walk home. Yes, he will walk to school with you now. A cutscene will play afterwards of Dewgong showing some Lanturn a Pokémon who has been turned to stone. Save and Continue.
